It happened every so often, that tiresome feel of stress crashed over Sadik like every splash of steaming water hit flushed cheeks. Ignoring his worries to indulge in a more enjoyable area of being a student, he managed to escape school grounds to the most convenient place of the hot springs.
It may have been how swiftly Sadik dashed towards the building, checking into a sauna at the front desk and whipping his clothes off to get to the blanketing steam and warm waters, but it was all quite a blur until his foot first touched the water's surface. Urged forward by the goosebumps on his arms and heat that promised to take it away, he cringed, the contrast in temperatures shooting his senses off track, but the Turk continued easing himself inch by inch into the balmy H²O until comfort took over.
Such an under appreciated element, he mused with a light chuckle.
The hot springs of Japan were foreign but familiar, a pleasant massage at the hamam was certainly a more enjoyable thought, but so long as Sadik's muscles were able to loosen and his mind able to wander, he couldn't complain.
Dragging a wet hand upwards out of the water to tangle it in short, soon to be curly locks, Sadik's expression stayed blank as he thought. Oughtta get it cut soon, even he knew that wouldn't happen. Procrastination truly was a curse – it brought the smallest of smirks to his lips, and he couldn't figure out why. The Turk's only assumption was his good mood.
With a cup of raki and some lokoum, he'd be at his zen.
