ALINA COBZARU
'A handful of moments I wish I could change, and a tongue like a nightmare that cut like a blade'
NAME: Alina Cobzaru
AGE: 17
GRADE: junior
NATIONALITY: Romanian
POSITIVE TRAITS:
- good listener- Alina can listen to a person she cares for, for hours, she's an expert listener especially if the person has a problem. She likes to think she's there for them and will help them sort out there problem no matter what.
- caring- She may come across mean, but she's quite the polar opposite, especially when it comes to people she cares about, she can be quite the loving big sister when given the chance and is fiercly protective of anyone she considers a friend.
- generous- She'd give you her lost penny if she could spare it. She's very generous, which is probably down to the mass poverty her country faced not to long ago. She felt weak, and now she tries to give back in order to feel less like a burden.
- quick witted- Ready with a quick reply and joke to most things, Alina is very quick witted, which mostly stems from her sarcasm. Not that she cares, at least she can stick up for herself.
- Hopeful- Alina never gives up hope, she's quite optomistic in that sense. Her power of looking onto the brighter side of life is what wiled her through the destitute times her country faced.
- Strong willed- Anyone will tell you her will is strong, her unweilding sense of self empowerment is one of the things that keeps her going, she doesn't ever give up if she can help it even if she is fighitng a losing battle.
- Stubborn- You cannot tell her what to do if you don't have her respect, she's as stubborn as a mule once her minds made up she won't ever change it. Hell if you can ever change her mind your in luck. Her stubborn nature is another strong aspect of her strong personality, she won't give up.
- Rebellious (well she considers it a good trait) - recently she's had a rebellious streak, ever since the outbreak of Europop and nightclubs she's turned into quite the party girl. Not only that she's started talking back to her boss instead of the usual stony silence he's greated with, Alina feels free to shoot down his dumb idea's with less that polite words.
NEGATIVE TRAITS:
- Fiery- her temper is incredible and if you ever piss her off I'd run for cover, it'll take a lot of grovelling and apologising to make it up to her too.
- bitter - She holds grudges, she's not one to give an apology either, even if she is in the wrong. She'd probably just sulk forever with the nation that pissed her off
- Reckless - Even when she was a nation, she appeared as though she was in her late teens and there for went through a long rebellious streak. Now thats she's stuck at the academy she's constantly testing her limits in whatever she deems testable.
- Careless attitude towards her possessions - She can't look after anything, just take a look at her book collection, its completly ruined!
- can be somewhat scary when she wants to be - Dude, a large part of her is made up of Transylvania, of course she can be damned scary when she wants to be!
- dry humoured- Sarcasm is one of her best friends. She's pretty quick witted when she needs to be and is already with a retort or a comment for anyone who annoys her.
- worrier - On top of everything she's terrible for worrying. Theres nothing worse for Alina than seeing someone in trouble or watching a friend in need. She's always worrying about one thing and now that she's stuck in the academy her top priority is her nation.
LIKES:
- Reading (horror literature of course)
- Romanian Beer
- her countries customs
- Long walks and exploring
- History
- Partying
- All the countries that have ever allied with her
- Pretending to be a vampire (come on she owns Transylvania she has to get her kicks somehow, even if it does include terrifying the weaker nations)
- Romance novels
- Sunshine
DISLIKES:
- Hungary (Due to the negative history the two have, Alina deems her as a spoiled brat and can’t stand her at all)
- People disrupting her quiet time
- Being judged before she’s known
- Bullies
- Really badly written books
about vampiresthat make no sense at all - Winter
- Really bad pop music
- Romanian food (she lives of imported goods)
- Ridiculous people/nations
- getting pushed around
FEARS:
- War and conflict breaking out because of clashing personalities
- Be considered an outsider due to her weird customs
out of character
NAME: Tis I Alice ^^
OTHER CHARACTERS: Finland and Taiwan
ROLEPLAY SAMPLE:
Dry skin itched at her scratchy knees as she basked in the sunlight. The weather was always beautiful in the summer and temperatures had for once reached an almost boiling level. Needless to say the Romanian nature loved it. She ordered the sunshine there was nothing better than having the sun on her back after a long days work at her house. Needless to say things for the young Romanian weren’t nearly as great as they could have been damn it was no wonder she didn’t suffer from some sort of identity crisis due to the amount of times her different bosses had changed the name of her house. She sighed and picked up a delicate looking book, whose corners were frayed and the spine almost knackered.
You could tell it was old just by looking at it; Alina was terrible at keeping things in a good condition it was honestly surprising that the book had transcended the last few centuries. And she did love this book, the whole plot was witty and incredibly clever, heck she probably knew it off by heart if she did care to recite it. She smiled as lay back on the sun bed she’d had her boss craft for her. It was such a nice gift, though did it really count as a gift if she’d intimidated it out of him? A smirk read her lips as she remembered the scene, he was so easily scared and all she had to do was wear her costume vampire teeth and remind him of the region of Transylvania. It was hilarious!
A snigger escaped her lips as she gently tossed the book to one side, maybe it was a bad idea to encourage that stereo type, though it had been funny to scare them a lot of the other nations (such as the American twit) were already terrified of her. She shook her head as a frown pierced her lips, she really didn’t want to outcast herself from the other nations. Alina already knew they thought she was weird.
