I figured I ought to make one of these by now...>_>...
Anyhoo, hello there! I'm Carly and I play Sicily and China (duh!). I guess I should say some stuff about myself.... I live in the United Sates, I have loved anime and manga for over two years now (I know, not a long time!), and got in to Axis Powers Hetalia about...a few months ago? Which makes me sound like a total newb, but I am actually all caught up on the series and stuff so I know it pretty well now (In fact, I already started my first cosplay as Russia...). So, what else... have been roleplaying for over six years now and am fairly experienced in it. I have various other obsessions like Harry Potter and Doctor Who, but anime, particularly Hetalia at the moment, is my top obsession.
Yeah, I sound like a total dork, but I am proud of my dorkiness! *cheers* So that's my brief intro on myself. I can't wait to start RPing with you all if I haven't already!

- Russia/Lithuania, China, etc. (it changes often! ^_^)
- Prussia/Hungary (So cuuuute~!)
- Austria/Hungary (So cuuuute too~! *cannot make up mind*)

We dorks should unite o/ lolol hello~ I already like you and your Sicily <3 She just seems so lovely to me ouo and silly, it doesn't matter if you'd just gotten into something recently~ imo, it's quite alright.
Mmm, Spain/S. Italy~ :'3 and PrusHun~ the latter is probably the first het pairing I ever shipped in Hetalia (which came like, a year after I got into the fandom OTL) and Spamano was my first OTP ever lol.
Anyway, it'll be fun role playing with you, I'm sure~! |

Agreed! It's unfortunate that often times dorks are usually solitary creatures that are stuck searching for other dorks like them for friends, but we are all so widespread across the world that it's easier said than done. All I can say is, thank god for the internet! ^_^
Grazie! I figured that when I first joined I should do a country, or, well, and area in Sicily's case, that I knew well and so I chose to do a Sicily OC because I myself have mostly Italian heritage and took a few years of Italian...not to mention her relations had so much potential to be the most ridiculous things ever! She turned out better than I could have dreamed~! I must say, though, I was pretty freakin' excited to see a Spain on here! And one with a fantastic bio too! WOOT! I can't wait to start RPing! ^_^
Mhmm! How could someone not OTP Spain and Romano?! They are just so adorably perfect together~! ^_^ And Prussia and Hungary would be cute together, though I do like Austria and Hungary...and you could totally crack!pair Prussia/Austria for giggles...*sigh* I can't decide which is the cutest! My first OTP though was America/England, which my sister and I decided while watching it together for the first time. |

US/UK is true for most people. It might some sort of initiation or something lol idk. I mean I got into it in the early days, as was for GerIta and HRE/Ita~ but then I got reading a gazillion fanfics and history books and wikipedia so now the possibilities are endless and I whore Spain out to the universe. |D

I agree! I've yet to meet a person who isn't a US/UK supporter or at least one who does not recognize the obvious canon relationship between them throughout the series. Hetalia has its pretty much canon relationships with Germany/N. Italy, US/UK, Finland/Denmark, etc. But it is way more fun to make up your own unique pairings or crack!pairings, or whatever the heck you want!
Speaking of history, I don't know about you, but I attend history classes at my school and we are currently studying American History. Not only has Hetalia made the class 10x more fun, but you also can see just how much thought was put in to the series to be accurate. Honestly, everything is so true about each country and their personalities and relationships when I compare them to my text book its incredible!
And again, like you said, by doing actual research or reading fanfictions you can pick up more of the underlying emotions of the characters that actually make the "not canon" relationships they are put in seem realistic and entirely possible! Which defends my idea of France being with anyone...because he could! ^_^ Whore Spain = Fun Spain! ^_^

I just finished discussing about the entire world~ so it's already Economics for me next year /cries
'twas fun talking about the Americas and the Franco-Prussian war~ /innerPrussiamuse was so proud of me for being the only one who knew he existed lol. I don't ship America with Iggy so much now though XD I'm not even sure who I ship him with anymore OTL but honestly prefer England to be with one of his bros (Scotland, perhaps) aah or maybe Canada o.o; but then again Pru/Can is also lovely. /apologies for getting sidetracked~
