Why hello all! ^_^
I'm here to throw open plotting with Wang Yao, China, to anyone who wants him! Seriously, I'm not too picky about threads so just comment if you want to RP and if you have ideas as to what you might want to happen.
As for relationships, I'm not too eager to hop into anything too serious as of yet. For now, let us stick to the actual canon relationships China already has and forming and developing new ones with those of you he has none with!
Xièxiè! ^_^

Ni hao!! I have the resident Taiwan here so its inevitable that we have some big asian family plotting ^.^
ummm from what I know Taiwan doesn't take much notice of what Yao says or tells her. But i bet she cares about him really she's just a bit stubborn. I can't think of much of a plot to be honest but it'd be cool if we think of something : D

I'm not sure if you'd consider this canon or not since Macau is an oc, but they do know each other. I can explain their relation and history together real quick if you want? B: Then we can discuss it or something. There's a little in the plot thread for Macau I made here some time ago, you can go look there for a brief text if you like. If you want to stick with canon-canon here in the beginning, then it's fine with me~ I'll just wait.

Everyone is being so formal and serious! You guys do know it's me, Arazia, yes??? Lolz!
Anyhoo!
Adam: Sounds great! They may get along okay I think...Or they may end up toally despising each other, I'm not too sure! Do you have any ideas in mind?
Taiwan: YES! I think we should just have a huge thread of all the Asian countries or something! That could be interesting! Like a humongous family reunion of pure awesome!
Macau: Eeep! That's not what I meant (I sounded so rude! I'm sorry! >.<)! When I said I'd like canon relations I meant I'm not going to have Yao suddenly start, I don't know, hitting on Sealand (wtf?! ) or something. I am totally open to new relations with OCs though, especially if they have history with China itself! If we do do a massive Asian thread then you would definitely be in it! But, yes, an overview of their history together would be lovely, xièxiè!

Well, china and australia have had a long standing relationship since the late 1600's, so china would have met little!Adam. Also.. its quite possible he discovered him XD.
Right now we have a very good relationship with each other, china is our top trading partner, our ex-pm now international affairs guy speaks fluent Mandarin. so.... yeah... XD I think they'd like each other, china may even have a fatherly or brotherly relationship with the guy..unless you want something else >//>

Adam:*applause* Wow, you did your research! ^_^ which I totally should have done on China more thoroughly, too. Sounds good to me! Yao could see him almost as a close friend, but a younger one that he wants to teach and protect and help and stuff... What do you think? For now,I think that works, yes? ^_^

Adam: Uhhhmmmm....something...nature-y??? Probably some place outdoors I think since they both enjoy nature. Maybe involving a cute animal that Adam caught or something because Yao would find it adorable....*is pulling at random half-ass ideas*...Errr...Or they could run into each other at the Aquarium and somewhere go from there...

You don't sound mean xD No worries. And a big Asian thread sound fun (maybe a bit confusing with so many people, but fun nevertheless We should totally do something like that~!)
The overview is going to be pretty quick, and it'll only be the stuff that has China involved some way. Macau doesn't have a too big history, and even if it's placed in China there's not much connection with the mainland. Most of the influence have been from Portugal.
The first history of the place as Macau begins when the Portuguese arrived right outside a Chinese temple. They asked the name of the place and got the answer "A-Ma", that later changed to Macao (Macau in modern spelling).
Portugal started to use Macau as a trading spot, and one in their major sailing route that is. Most of Macaus history involves Portugals trading in the East, and doesn't have too much to do with the mainland.
Much later, 1966 actually, a riot called 12-3 incident broke out. It happened pretty much to an overreaction - from both sides as I understood it. Some people wanted to make a private school, and even if they were rejected several times, they started to build it anyway. The Portuguese police arrest the school officials and beat construction workers, residents and press reporters. Mao Zedong's supporters mobbed the Macanese Governor's house, and troops was called to suppress them. On the 3rd of December ordered them arrested, which caused public and more people to come and protest. They pulled down a statue and burned documents (some that could not be replaced). The result of this; 11 people killed by the police, 200 injured. The Chinese pretty much cut Portugal off, with no taxes, service or selling to the Portuguese, untill Portugal apologized. I've always had a hard time figuring out how to divide this into the countries. But I've come to it like this; The Macanese wanted to build to school, Portugal was against it, and China came to support.
Due to the incident, Portugal tried to give Macau back to China, but China delinced. Several times Portugal tried, and in 1999 Macau was handed back to China, now being a Special Administrative Region.
The 12-3 text is pretty much a copied from Wikipedia, since I wanted to be sure I got it right x'D So there really isn't much interesting to it, at all. Most of it is Portugals trading, that slowly ceased due to Japan closing off and Hong Kong. I've always seen Macau as being much happier with leaving China, than Hong Kong might have been. Also China not caring as much as for Macau as with the other Asians (due to him saying no several times before Macau became a SAR).

/gasps/ "Aniki! " /tackle glomp grope thing/
Ah ha hello! This is Denmark, Shetland and of coarse South Korea, da-ze!
Now it is totally expected of S.Korea and China being together, since it's totally canon! Heh heh~
Ohhhh! I see there is an idea for a Big Asia thread! I would love to join something like that! A huge family reunion with everyone!
Also, about relationships. I'm not really bothered about romance here but I'm totally cool with RPing KimchiBun if you wish! I like also seeing them as real close siblings or something one sided with Yong Soo being all "LOVE ME ANIKI" and Yao just all "GTFO ARU" XD
So, hopefully we can RP sometime and China and Korea!
