Macanese relations

Since Macau is an oc, and not a very known place I thought I should make a thread about his relations as I see them, and explain a bit. Of course I am open to ideas and changes, if you have any xD

Macau is one of the two special administrative region in China (The other being Hong Kong), formerly a Portuguese colony. The first and last European colony in China, which ended not so long ago (1999). It's a small place that consists of two islands.

Portugal - Since Macau has been a Portuguese colony since the 16th century. So they've known each other for a long time. I've always imagined them as having a daddy-son (even if the Portugal is female) relationship, that is rather easy going and without any problems really. Other than the 12-3 incident. I also see them as a couple of troublemakers, on a big adventure in Chinas garden.
If we get a Portugal I'd like to discuss their relationship a bit, since we still don't have an official Portugal and since Macau is an oc.

China - A bit more of a relaxed relation. I don't see China like caring too much for Macau (like with the other Asians countries), since he said no to having Macau back the first time Portugal tried to give him back. Since Macau is so small and pretty much city only, he's very dependant on China to give him food and water and sources like that (Not that is going to be a big matter in a Gakuen rp xD). Also he likes to borrow money from China whenever he doesn't have any left himself (not a totally real fact*, I just find it kind funny xD)

Hong Kong - They doesn't share too much historical history together, other than both being SAR. I could imagine HK being a bit annoyed by Macau, because of his carefree nature and HK being .. HK. Like with China, Macau often tries to rely on HK when he is in need of money. (Again not really a real fact*.)

England - Okay, they have no history together that i know of, but since Portugal and England was pretty good allies and Hong Kong was a English colony; I can't imagine anything else than them having some sort of positive relation.

Macau has a Friendship agreement or is simply 'twinned' with them (as it's called) with cities in the following countries - Belgium, Vietnam, Brazil, Angola, Sweden.

Portugal too but I didn't list it because well, duh.
Sweden is a bit special since he's friends with "Concelho das Ilhas" which is Macaus lower island. Yes, Sweden is friends with Macaus lower parts..... I'm really not sure what kind of relationship I imagine that to be .... REALLY.


* Macau does share some economy with China and Hong Kong, but as I understood it they're not relying totally on those two places for money. Macau relies more on China for food and that kind of things since most of Macau is covered by buildings.

Yay! Hmmm, well if you have something in mind then you can start it, if not then I can. Arazia will probably just be hiding from the world in her bed or tending to her plants. Either way, it will be good for them to all meet!
